Folds & Hornby: The Perfect Pair
Ben Folds has teamed up with English novelist Nick Hornby to produce the collaboration “Lonely Avenue,” set to be released on September 28, 2010.
The album is comprised of Ben’s vocals and music accompanied by Hornby’s lyrics. The disc is truly spectacular, complimented by the string arrangements of Paul Buckmaster. It was recorded on a 2-inch tape and is made specifically to be listened to on vinyl. Don’t be discouraged if you are not a record player music enthusiast– the album will also be available on CD, digitally and in a deluxe edition that features four short stories by Hornby.
